Esther Polo Velazquez is a trained engineer and an artist at heart.

She was born in Spain but has lived an international life due to work and family reasons, living in countries such as Sweden, Switzerland, Singapore, Canada, and finally the United Kingdom where she currently lives.

It was precisely in Singapore where her artistic curiosity and relationship with contemporary painting emerged, starting with drawing. Surrounded by different cultures, religions, and an environment full of life and color, she gained that Asian and harmonious effect that can be seen in her work.

Probably influenced by her technical training as an engineer, her work constantly showcases her search for new challenges, using different techniques, textures, and materials to produce her paintings and sculptures, demonstrating her versatility.

Her pieces, with clean, moderate, and aesthetic shapes, of abstract and contemporary style, convey simplicity, peace, and serenity, but at the same time, strength and balance, with an architectural and proportionate influence.

Today, focused on artistic creation, PoloVelazquez shares her time and art works between London and Madrid.
